Plot — What is Grandma Gives Me Peace Every Year about?
After Mu Ying's mother passed away, her father remarried. Cao Xiu Lan, her grandmother, wanted to take one of the two Mu sisters, either Mu Ying or Mu Luo. In their previous life, Mu Luo discovered through their mother's diary that their grandmother was the richest woman in the capital. So, she rushed to choose to follow her grandmother, but instead lived a humble and simple life. Mu Luo eventually was consumed by jealousy of Mu Ying, who stayed with their wealthy father and stepmother. During the marriage alliance between the Mu and Liang families, Mu Luo murdered Mu Ying and then committed suicide, resulting in both their deaths. Reborn, they’re back to the moment of choice at age 15. In this life, Mu Luo chooses to stay with her father, while Mu Ying chooses her grandmother.
